Someone at work remarked that W2K is a crappy OS because it gets slower as
it gets older. Remarkably enough, I kept my opinions to myself.
My observation about W2K over the years is that if you don't prune the temp
subdir's, remove spy software or don't defrag and you keep adding additional
software, then yes, the OS does get slower.
Simple question: Does W2K really get slower over time, or is it because of
all the crap people add to the system that causes it to run slower and/or
the lack of maintenance that causes to run slower or the registry paradigm
just blows?
