This is 2nd time that my emails in outlook became inaccessible when the size of my .pst file reached 1.9GB. When launch Outlook 2000, an error message said that: "Unable to display the folder; Errors have been detected in the file C:\Document and settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Personal Folders.pst. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox Repair tool.
When I use Inbox Repair Tool to scan the .pst file, it always report encounter error and cannot continue.
My questions are
1). How can I recover this .pst file
2). What is the maximum size of a single .pst file that Outlook can handle safely
3). If the size of .pst file is limited, what can I do if I need to keep the accumulated emails
Many thanks
Jack
