does swapping sata ports risk activation?

My motherboard and processor failed and I have replaced both with the same
types. However I had removed some of the memory and Sata drives when
checking and when I reinstalled the hardware Windows now wants activating as
it says that there has been significant hardware changes.

I only have one day (today) left to activate and my question is this.
Does mistakenly reconnecting my five sata hard discs to DIFFERENT sata ports
constitute a "significant hardware change" and contribute to me having to
reactivate?

Why does it matter? Just reactivate if it says you need to. There's no
downside to doing this, and there's no limit on how many times you can
do so.

Part of the ID used for activation is the processor. Also, a built-in
ethernet card. If enough items change, re-activation is required.

Ken,

As you said "just reactivate" and it worked thanks!
