Hi,

I've been using Vista & Windows Mail for several months without any
problems.

Yesterday, Windows mails asked me to enter username & password for every
mail account (to collect my e-mails).

So I did although it never happened before, but now, it keeps asking me
these information every time.

I saved them again in the accounts definition.
I ticked the check box in the nag screen to save my password .

It didn't change anything.

What's going on ?

Ensure that your account settings are in fact intact at Tools
Menu>accounts>select mail account>Properties.
I find that if ever I get the nag screen I always select cancel and try
again later.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not compatible
with Windows Mail and will cause trouble over time.

Norton Internet Security 2006

I fixed the problem.
I re-entered the informations in the account properties, and un-ticked and
ticked again the check box "remember my password".
I exited Windows Mail and when I ran it again, it just worked.

I don't know what happened...but it seems it happened after a windows patch.
