What the hell are you talking about???? Port 119 is not a physical hole
on a microsoft server that everyone must pass through to get to a Usenet
server! Ports are ethereal, it's not like if Microsoft invented a
portable hole and now owns it! You gotta be smoking something to come
out with all those dillies that you come out with!

I too experienced that phenomenon today! (I hadn't come online
yesterday.) Just to see whether they've really been around awhile (as
Bear intimated), I subscribed to "pos" & "forecaster", & indeed they
seem new-enough to only have at most a dozen posts -- the first being a
welcome from that Ms.NNTP (who posted here a while back) stating what to
use the NG for, such as...!...

"User (sic) this newsgroup for questions and answers on Forecaster."

But she didn't give her own forecast!

What would the server exist for if it did not have any content?
The "Microsoft Communities" has SFA to do with Usenet news groups.
