Does intel D845GLAD mother board supports 250 GB SATA Hard disk?

I brougt new 250GB sata hard disk along with all ide to sata
converters. i have connected my sata hard disk to my mother board
(intel D845GLAD),
but when i checked in bios my hard is not detected by my motherboad.
i tried all the combinations suggesteb by friens but that doesn't
work, finally i need one query Does intel D845GLAD mother board
supports 250 GB SATA Hard disk?

What you need is an SATA to IDE converter (e.g.,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812206001).
If the converter does a proper job of converting an SATA device so it
looks like an IDE device, then the motherboard would have no problem
seeing it.

i had connected all converters correctly and also converter working
well but bios is not detecting my hard disk
