I received the following which looks suspicious.

so you've been downloading apps from sites you know nothing about?

It is so obvious. Just reading the verbiage of the message one can tell it
is not from a reliable company. It sounds like a 7th grade student trying to
act knowledgeable and sophisticated


Examples:

1. can be severely negatively affecting

2. These error files (what's an error file)

3. could lead to a complete crash of your hard
(is there any kind of crash, other than complete?). Oh. Maybe a 20%
crash!

4. A reliable company would not use the & sign. They would write out the
word "and".

If you carefully read, checking spelling, punctuation, sentence structure
and grammar, you can tell what is bogus, and what is not, "most" of the
time.

No I did not down load it.

But to answer you question: I usually have my people check out a site before
I go there as I'm sure you also do.

Obviously not okay if the site is linking you automatically to a shifty
snake-oil seller.
