Can I get rid of the Documents folder on my Start menu?

I use the Classic Theme in WinXP Pro and directly below Programs there is a
Documents folder which I never use, but keep hitting my mistake - how can I
turn it off? Regedit setting perhaps?

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Click on "Explorer" and remove the check next to
"Allow Recent Documents on Start Menu", then click Apply.
