Documents and Settings

I have just installed a new 160GB hard disk, reinstalled XP Home and am now
trying to structure my programs and data in such a way to ensure certain data
(mp3s & photos) can easily shared between multple users whilst other data can
be restricted on a per user basis.

My questions:
1. Can I move the Documents and Settings folder into different partition to
where Windows is installed, an if yes how ?
2. If no to (1), can some of the folders within the Documents and Settings
file structure by moved to another partition, and if yes how ?
3. Can the default Shared Folders be moved into different partition to where
Windows is installed, an if yes how ?

Thanks in anticipation.

You cannot move the entire C:\Documents and Settings\ foldern as that
is a crucial Windows system folder. You can' however, easily move the
personal data files contained therein to another partition:

you can also just tell your computer to only share certain sub-folders. if
you want your pictures shared but not your personal data files on yor C
drive. riight click on the folder you want shared and there should be a
sharing option. if not click on properties and then the sharing tab. tell it
to share. then tell it the name you want it to share are (i.e. PICTURES) if
you don't get the sharing option you don't have file and print sharing
allowed. you can also make some folders private so only you when you are
logged on can get to them. If you need anymore help feel free to ask.
