Document opens on one computer crashes on another.

Hi,
Why would a Word document that opens on one XP Home computer with Word 2003
installed completly crash another computer with XP and Word 2003. In fact I
am even unable to paste the documetn to the desktop on the second computer
without explorer crashing.

Why would that happen I wonder?
