Document Corruption

We are increasingly seeing with document corruption with our student
using office xp. They are not necessarily complex or large docs.
All the text turns to squares and seems unrecoverable.
My first thoughts are this maybe "inexplicably" linked to roamin
profiles.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Barney

You mention 'roaming profiles' - are these users accessing their files
across the network? The symptom you describe sounds like what happens when
you work on a file remotely and lose network connection.
