Docs wont open via explore/Macro Settings Changed

I can no longer double click a word file in the explore window and have it
open. I have to open word and browse to the directory. Word Opens, but not
the document.


When the file in question is opend by File>Open>from word the Maros work as
if they are set to low, but the setting is still shows at medium.

This started happening after I changed my Macro security to low. to enable
printing from the explore window without enabeling macros.

I have been told by IT that I have permsission to write to the reg. file
which is where I'm told this macro resides.

Doese anyone have any suggestions?
