DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION

When I try forwarding one of my contacts via email (Actions, Forward), I keep
getting the message:
"You do not have permission to send the message on behalf of the specified
user" Could anyone tell me what would cause this? I do have some items
stored in the contact.
