Do I want to save changes

I am using Word 2002. When I try to close one particular document that has
been emailed to me it keeps asking me do I want to save the changes.
Whatever I select I still the same message when trying to close this
document.

I have made many changes to the document, but obviously something more than
just editing is sending me this message.
