Hi i'm creating a system boot disk for my computer because I am installing a
second hard drive. I have found certain files that say I need to include the
file Ntdetect.com on the boot disk. My problem is that I don't have that file
or it's component INSTALLD.cmd. Does Windows XP require the Ntdetect.com file
to run prorerly? I'm not sure because I read that the Ntdetect.com file is
used to find the hard drive to boot from, but my computer boots up fine
without the file. So I hope someone on here can help me thanks for looking.
