EVery damn program work with 64M video card! Only one lousy
game does not work. It's Madden 2004. I bought GeForce FX.
Still it refuses to work. I decided to **** it since I hate
****ing football. What is worth to spend $150 just for playing one
stupid game?

A Nvidia-based 6600 GT 128MB video card offers a lot of bang for the money.
I use one myself for games.

Maybe an explanation of what doesn't work would be helpful.
It sounds like either the game didn't load properlyor the setting in the
game need to be adjusted. Or the computer itself doesn't meet the minimum
specs. I don't have total recall, but I think that most old motherboards
were only capable of handling 4x APG cards. I think if you put an 8X card in
a 4X slot it will only run at 4X. (I will be corrected if this is not true).
Most new games require 8X cards and DirectX 9 or better to play. I recall
that was the major reason I built this box and abandoned my trusty old PII.

There will be other games and other programs in the future, you know.
The programs demand that you upgrade, and that will only be more true as
time goes by.

PC Gaming has always been that way.

Doom cost me £100 for 4MB RAM.
Quake cost me £250 for a CPU, mobo.
Quake 2 cost me another £100 for a graphics card.
HL cost me £300 for a system upgrade.
HL2 cost me £150 for a graphics card upgrade.
BF2 cost me £80 for another 1GB RAM.

Your card has enough memory, the specs for Madden 2004 are: 32MB supported
Direct3D capable video card with DirectX 9.0 or higher compatible driver
(DirectX 9.0a is recommended). Maybe you need new drivers.
