No. You can use a Point to Point configuration wireless.
This is of course assuming that you have a wireless card
in your PC. If you do not, an access point will be
necessary, or someother wireless device that is then
connected to the hub, switch or router.
Reading the documentation for the router I have it says its a wireless
router... do I need a wireless USB or PCI card to make my note book connect
to my DSL internet via pc card. Or is my wired network card enough.
what brand and model router do you have? generally people use wireless
pccards for notebooks. if the desktop is already wired to the same router,
you don't NEED a wireless connection (unless you want one).
