DnsApi problems

Hi there,

I keep getting this error on my server, about an hour
later my it crashes and reboots, the server has SP4 and
nothing I do seems to help, I've replaced the network card
too.
Here is the error message, if anyone can help me I would
really be grateful.

Source: DnsApi
Event ID: 11157

The system failed to register pointer (PTR) resource
records (RRs) for network adapter with settings:

Adapter Name : {03D9D71D-9A2B-4C43-9987-1FF49699F287}
Host Name : tarserver2000
Adapter-specific Domain Suffix : TAR
DNS server list :
158.43.240.4, 158.43.240.3
Sent update to server : None
IP Address : 10.0.1.104

The reason that the system could not register these RRs
was because of DNS server failure.

This may be due to a zone transfer lock on the DNS server
for the zone that your computer needs to update.

You can manually retry DNS registration of the network
adapter and its settings by typing "ipconfig /registerdns"
at the command prompt. If problems still persist, contact
your DNS server or network systems administrator. For
specific error code information, see the record data
displayed below.

Thank you

Is this an Active Directory domain?
If it is, are these DNS addresses in TCP/IP properties your ISP's DNS?
Is your domain a single-label name (domain instead of domain.com)
Post an ipconfig /all please.
