dns not resolving name addresses

I can access web sites if I type the ip address, but I
can not get to them by name nor I can click on links ...
the dns servers are set to be detected automatially by my
ISP, and I get the correct ip addresses for those
servers...any ideas?

sounds like dns issue. if using nslookup command, what do you get?
