DNS issue affecting some machines but not all

Hope someone can help as we can't take electronic payments till I get
this resolved!

Our payment software is giving the following error:
"ICP error
The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does
not have the correct associated data being resolved for . The usual
example of this is a hostname -> address translation attempt (using
gethostbyname() or WSAAsyncGetHostByName()) which uses the DNS (Domain
Name Server), and an MX record is returned but no A record - indicating
the host itself exists, but is not directly reachable."

An nslookup for the host (Which is specified as a web address
https://www.blahblah.net in the payment software) returns an IP address
but because it is a payment company you can't ping their connection to
check it.

In what may be related some users can ping our external ftp site and
others cannot. Networking settings are propogated by DHCP and in all
cases an nslookup can resolve the IP...

netdiag - reports

DNS test . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Passed
PASS - All the DNS entries for DC are registered on DNS server
'x.x.x.x' an
d other DCs also have some of the names registered.
[WARNING] The DNS entries for this DC are not registered correctly
on DNS server 'x.x.x.x'. Please wait for 30 minutes for DNS server
replication.

If anyone can offer suggestions that would be incredible!

I guess what will be helpful is an unedited "ipconfig /all" of a workstation
and one of your DCs toget a better view of your configuration. In many
cases, maybe 95% of the time, we can come up with a possible resolution with
just this information

THanks,
