If you have installed the Intel Application Accelerator (the IDE drivers
that probably came along) these assume DMA and don't give you the option
in Device Manager that the standard Microsoft ones do. But there should
be an Intel Application Accelerator item somewhere in the All Programs
menus, that will tell you everything
