DMA ???

When ever I try to copy a file to a CD I get a message that the DMA is turned
off.
I checked the devise manager on the CD and there is no Resources tab.
How do I turn it on?

It's under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, rather than the optical drives.

If the system is stuck in PIO mode, you may be able to fix it by
uninstalling and re-installing the IDE drivers. (That's not completely
risk-free, though.)

Address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn.
