Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Highlight HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and then click Edit, Find. enter WINUPD.DLL and search for it. Each time its found, right click the key that its found and select Export. Then delete the value that's trying to load it, or references it. Exporting these keys creates a backup, just in case. You can reimport these by double clicking them and answering Yes to the import prompt.

norton. i uninstalled it and downloaded the newest
version of spybot and AVG free antivirus. these two
programs fixed it. My thanks gos out to all the people
out there that provide these free products like spybot,
AVG, ad-aware, and hijackthis.
