I've used Outlook 2002 for years. But recently every
time I tried to start Outlook 2002 I got a popup message
that said "unable to install or load c:\winnt\system32
\ActExt.dll". So I bought Outlook 2003 and loaded that,
but I still get the popup message. What's going on and
how do I fix it?

Find and delete the file: extend.dat (Search using the hidden files and folders
option) then restart Outlook.

I tried it, but it didn't work. I still got the popup

What I would recommend is to uninstall Office, backup your PST File folder
first, restart the computer. Go into C:. > Program Files and delete the
Office folder.

Restart and rerun setup for either Office or Outlook depending on which one
you prefer or have installed.
