I've tried to uninstall DivX, from its folders
using "uninstall," and WinXP only "beeps," beeps." I've
gone into Control/Add & Remove, and the
same "beep," "beep." I can't get DivX to leaave. When
ever I try to uninstall it, a popup windows appears
instantly and disappears. I figure it's the error
message, but XP for whatever reasons won't let it stay
long enough to read it. Bottomline, I need help finding
a way to uninstall DivX. Can you help?

P.S. Is there a way to find one's posts efficiently
without going through all of them?

Try doing it through Start/Search enter divx click start and delete
everything that comes up

You can do a manual uninstall. Delete the file folder for
divx in the "Program Files" folder. Then search your
computer for anything "divx". Delete any registry keys
that pertain to it.
