Distribution list error

I created a distribution list, it worked fine til recently now I get an error
that states that the operation cannot be completed, I also treid to recreate
the list by hand rahther than improting them in from my address book. I
cannot send out any mail. If I create the addresses individually I have no
problem.

DL's are very fragile and unreliable. Most of us don't use them.
Clarify what you did to "recreate" this DL, your Outlook version and
information store.
