Hi Chlaris,

Access MVP Tony Toews maintains a good page on this topic:

Microsoft Access (Office) Developer Edition Versions
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/developereditionversions.htm

Note: If you have Access 2007, you can download what you need for free. All
previous versions require that you pay mucho deniro (many $) to obtain rights
to re-distribute the runtime.
Please suggest several sites....

Sorry, I'll leave that part up to you. Obviously, you can get what you need
for Access 2007 directly from Microsoft. I'm honestly not sure if they still
sell the Access 2003 Developer Extensions.

If you mean an installer Inno Setup is free.

If the user does not have Access installed, you have to distribute the
Access Runtime, for which you have to purchase Visual Studio Tools for
Office for v. 2003, whether you use the install wizard included, or Inno, or
a third-party commercial installer. I'm a little surprised that anyone
would answer such a question without knowing that.

Hello Larry,

Where I can find genuine Visual Studio Tools for Office for v. 2003 ? Maybe
you can suggest several sites which sell this product.
If I buy used software from eBay, is the license transferable ?
Thanks.

As it is not a current product, you would have to find one in the
distribution chain. The license on some used software is transferrable but
you'd have to read the licensing terms and conditions -- I do not know about
Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003's licensing terms.

I have sold some unneeded software on eBay in the past, but it was new,
unopened, unregistered; so the purchaser was the first activator /
registrant.

My copy was obtained via a MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) subscription,
and that license is has different terms and conditions than a retail
license...
