Disruption of ADSL work happens periodically

I have Internet through an ADSL modem/router and I fixed an ADSL filter
which separate my telephones off the modem/router. Time to time (about once
a week) a disruption of ADSL work happens. For restoration I should do two
thinks: 1) to restart modem/router and after this 2) to give a telephone
call (any telephone number).
How can I get rid of this annoyance?

Have you checked with your DSL service provider to see if you have a
hardware or configuration problem?
