I have a machine that is behaving strange. If I try and run the display in
true color (another but 256 colors) I get the blue screen of death. My
video card is recognized by w2000. I am running with sp4. I have tried
swapping out the video card to no avail. I have also swapped out my memory
to see if that cured it. If I try and change to true color and reboot it
fails and the only way to fix it is to boot off the original CD which comes
up just fine and then change it back to 256 colors.

I have also tried to repair, etc. Nothing seems to work. Does anybody have
any thoughts on this one?

maybe you need to update your video drivers

or install the correect ones for your *other* card
