Can anyone help?
When switching on my computer today, the dispay settings
have gone to 4bit. Nothing I try seems to be able to
change this. What is happening?

Can you boot into Safe Mode and check out your graphics drivers?

What do you mean by "4bit"? Is that just 16-color mode?

What is the make and model of your graphics card?
