I am working on a users machine, and I noticed that the display seems to be
too bright. The user has a crt monitor, and isn't allowed to upgrade to an
LCD monitor. I have degoused the monitor twice, with no success. I have
also adjusted the brightness and contrast, all that does is dull down the
brightness, but you can still tell there is a problem. I have also attempted
swaping monitors with no success. I just replaced the motherbaord because
they have a Dell Optiplex GX270 - low profile that had exploded capacitors on
it. This is a known problem that Dell has been having, and this didn't fix
the problem.
Has anyone seen this problem, or know of something else I can try to resolve
this issue?
