Display Question

I just upgraded my machine from Windows ME to Windows XP. The upgrade went
successfully for the most part. However, I am having one issue with my
display. I have no problems displaying in 800x600 resolution but when I move
it to 1024x 768, I am running into some problems. The screen changes to the
resolution but in order to see the top/bottom and left/right portions of the
screen, I need to move my mouse all the way to the edges and then the screen
moves to that portion of the screen. In Windows ME this was not an issue the
resolution allowed for the whole screen to be seen at the higher resolution.
I have a Radeon All In Wonder 32MB video card and a Viewsonic E790 Monitor.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Visit ATI site for winxp drivers for your card.
Do NOT use winupdate for any non MS device drivers.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I went to the ATI website and got the
newest driver. However this did not resolve my issue with increasing my
resolution. My monitor is a 19in monitor and had no issues with the 1024x768
resolution before. The resolution increase works its just that in order to
see the entire screen, I have to move my mouse to the left/right and
top/bottom so that the screen moves to the edges.

I cannot find the turn off virtual desktop in the display settings. Where is
this? Any other suggestions out there?

Thanks!
