Hi, my display properties are missing. There is no display
button in my control panel either. Is there an easy way to
get it back.

There could be several reasons you can not see the icons in the Control
Panel (I hope that is the only ones the go away).

Some of the Spyware blockers have options that block your access to some
functions in the Control Panel. If you have installed Spybot S&D and then
enabled its Immunize function, this type of thing can happen to you. Check
Spybot and disable Immunize. In addition, TweakUI can do this sort of thing
to you. As do some of the rogue ripoff Spyware removal programs. .

It can also be a simple problem of Registry corruption causing them to not
show up in Control Panel

Restore the correct .cpl file from your Win2k installation.
