Reinstall or update your video card drivers from the manufacturers website.

Hi, I had the same problem. I restored the tabs from kellys site, but when I

Hi All,

First I've heard of this. This edit has worked flawlessly for thousands.
More info needed.

Are you speaking of the context menu? If so, within which right click,
exactly? There isn't a browse from the context menu of desktop icons nor
right clicking the Star Button.

If you cannot right click anything on the desktop even before running my
edit: Go to Start/Control Panel/Display/Desktop/Customize Desktop/Web and
uncheck Security.

In the meantime:

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

Good luck and keep us posted.

I'll try what you said. when I right click on my desktop, I can bring up
the display screen with the "desktop" tab. When I click on it, it brings me
to a section with various wallpaper choices, a customize button, and on the
right side there is a "browse" button. Unfortunately I am unable to even
click on anything in that screen, the "browse" button is n/a and when I click

Ah, that Browse button. Ok....that has nothing to do with my edit.
Depending on where your default is pointing (normally here) check
accordingly.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders\Common pictures

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders\Personal

Added question: Have you moved either of these folders via a tweak of some
sort?
