I noticed in the drop-down box that there are a couple of screensavers which
I don't recognize viz ACDSee Screen Saver and Aj-series.
I require guidance as how to uninstall/delete these items.
Thanks.

As DL says, you can uninstall the third-party screensaver pack via "Add or
Remove Programs" applet. If the screensaver did not come as an installable
package, then look for the corresponding screensaver file in the
C:\Windows\System32 folder. The screensaver files contain .SCR extension.

For your information, here is the list of Screensavers that ship with
Windows XP by default. The remaining ones in your System32 folder depict a
third-party screensaver. Once you spot the offending item, simply delete it.
