I installed Windows2000 professional. Everything seemed to be right, but my screen shows only 16 colours. The Internet-site of the Microsoft says that my grafic card is suitable for Windows2000 (My card is Matrox G4 + MA32G). Does anyone know how to solve my problem, or is there any of these grafic cards which are at least close to mine? I mean, if I could choose another one from Add Hardware-file, and my display would work properly? (Actually, I don't know if that is even possible)

Right click on your desktop and go to properties. Select the Settings tab.
In the Colors portion of the screen there is a dropdown list of the
available color display. If the only thing that is showing up here is 16
colors, then you need to go to the Matrox website and download the
appropriate driver and install it. Windows will install a generic driver if
it does not have the appropriate driver during installation.

You need to go to the manufactures website and download the latest driver for your graphics card.
