I don't know if this is the right news group on which to ask
this question. If not, I'd appreciate suggestions as to
where I can ask.
I have WinXP SP2.
I'm having a display/color problem with most animated files,
but not with any still files. Animated files with the
following extensions are faded and yellowish: asf, avi,
mpeg, mpg, wmv, and rm. However, mov and gif files are ok.
This is the case whether I use Windows Media Player or Media
Player Classic. All stills (at least the ones I have -- bmp,
gif and jpeg) are ok.
Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it?
Thanks.
