Here's a few things to try:
1. Press Cntl-Alt-uparrow.
2. Start->Control Panel->Printers and Other Hardware->Display(on the
left)->Settings->Advanced. There may be a tab here that has options for your
video card that can be set.
3. Uninstall and reinstall video software.

5. Turn monitor on its side, (just kidding!).
