Display names and Email addresses

Our Outlook email forces the 'Display name' of an email address into th
'To:', 'From:', 'CC:' address lines (see example below).

Is this incomplete by accident or did I miss the rest of this post
somewhere?
I was actually curious about how Outlook displays names. Most other
email clients use a First Lastname ([email protected]) or some
variant, while Outlook by default just puts First Lastname with no
email address afterwards. This annoys them because in a long string of
emails you can't just click on a name within the body to grab the
email address since it's just a blank name at that point. Ideas?
