I have a Compaq Deskpro EN PC hooked up to a Compaq MV520 monitor. Yesterday it was reformatted and Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 reinstalled. It is working fine but the diplay properties are inadequate. In the control panel/display icon, I only have 16 colors....no other options are there. The display is rubbish and can not view pictures/web pages clearly. Im finding this very frustraing & upsetting cos I dont know how to fix this. Whats wrong? It was fine before the computer was reformatted. I have viewed a forum suggesting the driver for the vidoe card is wrong? Details om my system using everest show the following. Can somebody help to and tell me hwo to correct this. please reply to (e-mail address removed)
