You will get more help by describing you problem in more detail than
expressing your frustration as you did.

First, what driver versions are installed? Are they up to date? How about
direct x?
Since Laptops usually share main ram with the video system, the laptop may
need different video settings or more RAM.

Finally, since games heat up the laptops innards more than the usual
applications, you may have a heat related failure occurring.

Calm down.

First thing to do is READ the specifications of the game you are trying to
play. If it says it needs nVidia GeForce drivers or ATI drivers then your
game will NOT play on your notebook no matter what you try to do.

Your notebook has integrated graphics drivers... in this case they are
designed by Intel and the latest drivers for the chipset/controller are to
be found at the HP website at:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?dlc=en&lc=en&product=435618&lang=en&cc=us&os=228

Do you have your graphics set to use the maximum amount of RAM available?
Do you realize that this RAM is SHARED with the main RAM (memory) of the
PC... so if you start off with 512mb of RAM and use 64mb RAM for the
graphics, then you end up with only 448mb RAM available to the PC?

Does this meet or exceed the requirements for the game? What exact game are
you trying to play?

I just spent 30 minutes or so going through all the PDF manuals at the HP
website for you. It was an extremely difficult task to find exactly how
much memory you can have assigned for graphics, but in the end I discovered
it was 64mb. You may only have 32mb assigned by default, I could not find
out what the default was.

So if your notebook does not meet and/or exceed the specifications for the
game concerned, bottom line is you cannot play it.

It is a Girls' Weekend Out... I'm not sure they will be fit for public
distribution... but I might put some on my FTP!!
