If you burn CD's just use any kind of CD-R or CD-RW, but if you burn
DVD's your burner only support the "DVD+R" and "DVD+RW" formats, so you
have to buy these discs.
Most any decent quality CD/DVD media will work. If you plan to burn 8x
DVD+R, you may have a hard time finding media. Newegg.com carries the Ritek
brand, which are rated for 8x. Buy a few to try before shelling out for a
spindle.
Well, let me see . . . if you want to burn DVD's then I would buy some DVD R
and RW disks, 8X speed max. If you want to burn CD's then I would buy CD -
R and CD - RW disks. Just about any speed will do up to the max speed of
the CD burner unit.
