i cant get to do a disk fragmentation or a disk cleanup
as it says there are files in the wrong places. How do i
go about cleaning this up as when i go into the run
program with chkdsk it finds a file there but doesnt
clean it for me i am running out on virtual memory i need
to do this urgently. hope someone can help me thanks in
anticipation lemmy.

Unless something is filling your hard drive with data, you can't "run out"
of virtual memory. Windows uses hard drive space for the virtual memory, or
page file, as much as it needs when it needs it. What files are in the
wrong places? Have you run the System File Checker to see if it can repair
the damaged files, if it finds any? Quit any applications that may be
running in the background and see if your problem clears up. Good luck!

try emptying your recycle bin and disable your screen
saver before starting defrag
