diskeeper -how to cancel an action!!??

I set Diskeeper to defrag dice "C", and also decided stupidly to set
CHKDSK as well.... cept the flamin CHKDSK did not Auto run - and now
Diskeeper will not defrag "C" drive, either at boot-up or while the
system is active - says it detects a CHKDSK is set to run at next boot
and canot defrag till that is done!
The only setting I can find to cancel the action is in the "Change your
settings: - one of which is "cancel defrag" - trouble is - this does
not seem to cancel the ChkDsk!!!
good grief!! is there any way around it??? cos I'll be unable to
defrag C with Diskeeper otherwise!
many thanks if you can help.

Me again~
a few additional notes since posting...
I'v tried uninstalling diskeeper - reinstalling - no difference to the
problem!
I did access My Computer - right clicked C drive and using the Tools -
I ran a diskcheck, then scheduled a boot-time CHKDSK, it did run -
but Diskeeper STILL won;t scan or defrag C drive - still comes up
saying a CHKDSK is set to run and it can;t defrag/scan the drive untill
that completes!
Now.. I looked through the registry for any mention of CHKDSK, and yep
- I found mentionm of it withing the Diskeeper settings... what I see
under usersettings is...
(name)- BootTimeChkdsk (type)- REG-SZ ( whatever that is???)
and there are many other items in here.. but I see only this one
reference to Chkdsk.. but what to do? what to change?
hope someone knows somethign about all this!
"C" will never get a defrag unless i can clear this....
thanks.

Since diskeeper is such a resource hog when it actually runs, I chose to run
diskeeper manually only. The smartschedule in the diskeeper program is what
sets the auto defrag scheduling.

Open a command prompt window and execute these commands:

To view all parameter switches for this utility. (FYI only)
chkntfs /?

To restore the system to normal behavior:
chkntfs /d

To check the status of the drive:
chkntfs c:

If it reports a DIRTY drive, do this to schedule a manual chkdsk at the next
startup:
chkntfs /c c:

Then close this window, restart the system and then try to defrag after restart.

If it reports the drive NOT dirty simply close the window and try to defrag
again.

Many thanks for those commands, I'll save them for reference & whenever
I feel the need to check things over - excellent~ thanks.
As for the getting diskeeper back to normal~ I did have one last item
up my sleeve, but it's not any help for anyone else who might come
across something similar, I have Norton Ghost on the system, and had
taken a backup of "C" only 3 weeks ago... prior to this problem coming
up.. I restored - and as you'd expect - it was all back to normal, and
I only had two programs to re-install since that backup, did that,
defraged etc etc, and took a new backup. but if I did not have
ghost... it's saved me often in the past, and is one program I'd not
be without.
