Disk Space

I removed 500Mb of unwanted programmes from the Control
Panel. Yet, the disk space does not reflect an increased
of free space. In fact, there is a slight drop in usable
space!

There was above 6% of free space remained in the drive
before the removal of the files.

I have chosen to bypass the recycle bin.

Please help.

Have you tried running Scandisk and defrag?

So what size is yr hd?
Youve run Disk Cleanup?, though it may not run with too little space.
If not locate temp files and delete.
IE Tools, delete temp files
Yr space may be taken up by an expanded page file
