You either need to create disk space by removing stuff or via buying a
larger disk.

How do you fill a water glass to overflowing, without it overflowing?

If you are low on disk space and need to add more programs, you need to
purchase additional drive space.

?
I just purchased the HP 6226us lap top & on my drive "D" 6.58 mb it say's
it's full. Whe I got the LT it was 80 % & I went to back up a drive & now
it's full. It is the second drive, the main drive is 80% free 115gig. I
keep geting a window that say's I need to fre up space on the "D" drive &
when I click to do it everything is @ zero & there is nothing I can remove.

How do I go about this?

Thanks,

The D: drive on your HP is likely your system restore partition. It is there
to bring the computer back to the way it was when you removed it from the
box. Don't do anything with this drive. Do not delete files or modify the
drive in any way. You "will" need it someday in the future.
