Disk space does not add up

I have a 50.8 Gb hard drive on my system and it shows 4Gb
of free space and 46 Gb of used space. But when I add up
the space taken by all the files in there (including the
hidden ones) it only adds up to 32Gb. What am I missing?

Might want to check out TreeSizePro (google it) - a nice little shareware
app that does what Explorer *ought* to do.

There is "hidden" and there is "HIDDEN", in NTFS. AFAIK, alternate
data stream files (ADS) are not picked up by Explorer and similar
tools. There are tools for tracking down ADS (google for it).
