Disk quota not showing correct file sizes

I am currently in an educational enviroment and have decided to limit student
folders to 75mb in size using disk quotas.
this has now been implemented but quite a few folders are showing up in disk
quota entries table as being just a few kb's in size when in actul fact some
are more like 500mb - 1 gig

Users obviously have modify permissions over their folders but are not the
owners

Anyone any ideas how i can rectify this?

Thanks

I'd crosspost your question to an appropriate Windows group, but you don't
say which version/edition of Windows you are using.
This is a .NET programming group, and you are unlikely to find the
information you seek here.

Try posting your question to a group with the word "Windows" in the
description. This is a .Net Programming group.

Thanks,
