Disk Properties Help

Hi, I cannot view security under disk properties there is a General
Tab/Tools Tab/Hardware Tab/Sharing Tab and Quota Tab but no Security one is
available I have recently formatted my drive and I am using xp pro, hope
someone can suggest a fix and not another format, thank you for any help.

Turn off Simple File Sharing.

In Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View tab, scroll all the way down,
uncheck Use Simple File Sharing.

You're welcome Arthur. It's a common problem. Why M$ chose to hide such
security aspects from the user in a "Professional" OS is beyond me.

I expect that the "Professional" part means, administered by
professionals for use "by professionals in a business", not the
"ability" of the user in a computer sense.
