Disk Management

When I go into the Computer Management program and click on the Disk
Management section on my brother's computer, I get an error message that
says something about the RPC or Logical disk manager. How can I get passed
this error?

The RPC service is most likely 'Stopped'
Click: start | run and enter: services.msc
Scroll down to the service of interest, in this case Remote Procedure Call
(RPC).
The Status column normally would show 'Started' and the Startup column show
be 'Automatic'.
If the RPC service is not started (no entry in the Status column) then right
click and select 'Start'.
